Creative Cravings

I am watching/have watched the serise Taboo's episode "Sexual Identity". It is very interesting, and frustrating. Again, with the interchanging and mixing up the terms gender and sex, till I am not sure which they are talking about. I REALLY wish people would NOT do that! Its irritating and confusing to me. However, I know that the average person rarely-differentiates between the two. I just believe that anyone in medical, sociological, phys should be expected NOT to make that mistake. The same I would think it would be logical for those who consider themselves transsexuals or transgenders not to fall into the same trap also, but I guess not.

I have to admit I can't understand the this need. Frankly I don't want to truly understand it. To do that, I would to be uncomfortable in who I am on levels I don't even want to contemplate. I have enough issues with my CP, my butt and my bat wings thanks. This does not mean I can't accept it. However, the surgeries and assimilation procedures are getting very good. If I were in a relationship and my lover told me they had changed their sex. I would be stunned. I might even feel betrayed. I doubt I would brake it up with them. I mean if I am in the realtionship, I am obviously attracted to that person, so to run away would be hypocritical. I would however need, a bit of time to assimilate that information you know?

There is however one thing I really don't get, and frankly am not sure I can support. A woman who goes through the whole long process to become a man, but then decides he wants to pregnant. Oh there is nothing wrong with a man wanting a child. I wish more men would want to adopt ectera. It's just, I don't know if you want to actually carry your own child then did you really want a man's body to begin with?

Taboo says Gender is defined by birth: Biology male or Biiologically female. This statement makes me pull my hair out and lose my ability to articulate. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
