I'm alive- update.
I haven't posted or been on. A lot of #$#@#@$ has gone down. I will not be giong into it. I am being postive, and I will not be bogging down my journals any of them with my woes. Besides they are over or overish. Which is why I am here.
Good news, we had the first garage sale, and I got to say, I cleaned up. I made about 78 dollars. Just from it, not counting the money my neighbor owes me. I sold a lot of bikenstock and their sub brands for 10 dollars a pair. I think maybe I should have sold them for more. When I went to tax free day to get new shoes and told the lady she gave me a look. The woman has to be an older sister or mother. You know the one. That looks that gives you a royal scolding without saying a word? Yeah, that one. But hey, I couldn't wear them. I had lost to much weight in my feet. Yeah for the losing weight, pooh for not being able to wear my shoes.
I want the new mickey mouse ones from birkenstock but they are only availible in Europe. *pouts*
Bad news, my moms toe got seriously infected during the garage sale, and she would have lost it. Her foot doctor was being unreasonably money grubby and refusing to see her unless she paid him in full for the current and past appointnment and didn't miss it. Forget the fact that they still had to bill our insurance....
Good news on that front, she was going to go to urgent care. But her diabetes doctor's nurse told her to keep her orthopedic surgeon appiontement (for her shoulder) and go see him first. He found the ingrown toenail and got it out. He wanted her to go to operation room but is one of those doctors that just has to take one more look... and she has NO FEELING in her feet soooo he got it out in the office, cleaned it, bandaged it. Told herto stay off it for a week and to take her antibiotics.
He saved her toe, he said if she had waited for monday for that appiontment with the money grubber she would have lost it. It is all good now, except she might still lose the nail. We are keeping it tapped on. If it breaks off it will take the growth plaite with it, and it is only attatched at the bottom the sides are dettacthed to allow for drainage and swelling. But all in all good report. The Surgeon says to come to him.
So on tax free day I took my haul and went shopping I now needed new shoes. I went a little crazy. Got a pair of shoes, shorts, two shirts and a purse. Spent all my money and five from my checking account but I still think it was a good haul. I don't normally do that. It was the first pair of shorts i bought all year.
It was my birthday yesterday, on Sunday we went out, for my dinner. I had to pay for it out of savings-an emergency came up. It broke my savings but my parents will pay me back as soon as we get the AAA paycheck. Such is the like of small bussiness owners. Besides, we went ot Outback. I am not a huge fan of the place but they have this awesome ficcoca filet sandwhich which is the sole reason I went, with sweet potato fires. Pure heaven. I tried the Captian's Mia Tia also, I wasn't sure I would like it. I had two, would probably have gone for three but yeah I was stuffed, and my grandparents had the server who turned out to be an old classmate bring out this huge fried icecream oreo sunday! Which I just had to try. I don't normally eat that much anymore but I chowed. It was great. My grand aunt was there and gave me a present which suprised me. I expected a card but nothing from her. It was nice.
My parents, gave me the other part of the moeny I had been saving for my PSP slim 3000. It isn't the purple one. That was my choice. I decided, I wanted the silver one. It came with Ratchet and Clank , which is a game I wanted, National Treasure which is a movie I like, a GB memory card, and was 30 dollars cheaper. I couldn't see paying the extra money for a color, a game I didn't want, and a movie I didn't want. Sure the card was bigger and I wanted the color but they weren't worth it. I like silver and I'll probably buy a skin anyway. They also bought me another game to go with it. That and the ankel braclet mom bought me at the start of spring makes me happy.
They also made me the brown sugar roastbeef nachoes I like lastnight, and bought me an ice cream cake from DQ. Very nice, although I have to be completely honest. The old DQ icecream cakes were better then they are now.
