Summary: The command crew is drinking. Chekov is a little to drunk. His statement leads to some startling or not so startling revelations.

“You, Sir, are a one drink, manwhore.” Chekov said, watching as he seeming idly ran his fingers up and down Spock’s wrist. His statement was met with silence, his clear and distinct English startled the Command crew as much as his comment.

“The term is gigolo, lad.” Scotty said, as Kirk laughed between bouts of coughing. Scotch was really not meant to be inhaled.

“Or male prostitute.” Bones added.

“There’s male escort.” Uhura added helpfully.

“Okay, okay I have never nor would I take money for sex!”

“Honey, take it from me, you don’t need to, but boy could you.” Galia said with a grin.

Kirk raised his eyebrow and inclined his head at the compliment he knew the statement to be coming as it did from an Orion female. “Why thank you, you delightful tease.”

“So that would make you what, Jim, a male slut?” Bones asked.

“Yes, Insatiable” He said flippantly. Then feeling Spock’s hand tense under his warningly went on “There is nothing wrong with liking sex, as long as your partner agrees.” He stated.

“Not so insatiable now I see.” Uhura said with a smile, and a nod.

Surprisingly, it was Spock who spoke up. “You are mistaken. He is however taken.” He then bent down to take his startled lover’s lips in a kiss. Spock was not prone to human displays of affection. This was unprecedented.

“I believe cocktails are over.” Kirk said when he broke the kiss and lead Spock from the room.

Once they were alone in Spock’s cabin, he asked, “What was that about?”

“Human teasing and bonding is one thing, Jim, jealous digs at your expense I will not allow.”

“Uhura didn’t mean anything by it Spock.”

“Perhaps, you, however; are my slut from now on.”

“Indeed.” Kirk said with a smile, at resulting raised eyebrow.

I voted for Obama, I support him in most things. But, I heard on a radio broadcast that he is thinking of pushing to allow the Taliban a voice in the new Afghan government. Has he lost his mind. Watch Global voices: Afghanistan Unveiled 2009. A documentary produced my female Afgahan journalists about their country. Here about the province of Herate the woman still where chadori what the rest of the world refers to as a Burkas out of fear, and the police still watch to make sure they do. BTW the Chadori (as it is called in this documentary) aka Burka is not Muslium or Islamic and Hazara women, where every male was killed by the Taliban. They still live in caves, off of lentils, and stolen potatoes, and the Taliban cut off their breasts. Then you tell me. Do these people deserve to have a seat in the government????

Trauma

I fell on my mother's yorkie today. This is my worst nightmare.

I thought i had seriously hurt him. I have NEVER heard a dog make that noise. WE thought his leg or should was broken, but after he calmed down. He was okay.

He finally crawled across the bed and licked my face. So I think he realized how shoken up I was and thought HE had to comfort ME!! What a dear.

My mom took a nap with him and he seems fine now, but he his quite for him and spending even more time in her arms. The boy is milking it she says.

Me I am traumatized. I laid down, adrenaline rush=crash and had a nightmare I woke up and found him dead from undiagnosed internal injuries or worse that he had a herniated disk or something.

If I had hurt him or worse, I don't think my mom would have forgiven me. She says she would have it was an accident, but I don't know. More to the point I would not have forgiven myself.

That is my worst nightmare come true that my CP will cause me to fall on or stumble and step on and seriously hurt one of my pets. My self I don't care about but my animals? I couldn't live with that.

I have to interview the Department Chair for the Communication Department tommrow. It is for my Journalism 101 class. I had to take this class to fill my schedule before I decided not to graduate this semster but to get a double major in Sociology instead. Wish I had known that, I could have taken another Sociology class. I dislike this class. Its okay to learn another form of journalism, and according to the tests I would make a good one, but I don't like it.

I am nervous about this interview. The assignment is vauge, find something interesting about him and right a inverted pyrimid article. BTW the inverted pyrimid? It has got to be the most boring form I have EVER come across in my LIFE TO WRITE IN.

I have no idea what to ask him. I perfer to do interviews when I have to with a few feller questions and branch off, going where the interview takes, me. I am more intuative then rigid. I tried to resarch him. There is nothing forth coming on the University site, google, internet searches yeild nothing. I did find him on linked in, but there is bear bones, nothing to go on. To say I am nervous is an understatement.

Also they want me to get a twitter. I don't WANT A TWITTER.

I already have a live journal, an insanejournal, a dreamwidth, facebook, now linked in for this class, a seperate school blog for this class and now twitter for this class? Do they not realize what a massive time suck this is all becoming??? AGGGHHHHH

This statement just appeared on one of my email lists.

"Cause Slash Honey, ain't all that gay." Now ignoring the errors in English grammar that makes me want to smack the writer. My initial reaction was WTF?? ::Headdesk:: And then I thought wait statistically, slash is written by heterosexual females.

So I ask you my academically and sexually diversified flists, what is your reaction to that statement???

I like tenderness and love shown even in the office, though not to much, no body needs to lose his jobs. But Morgan is very affectionate with Garcia I can’t see him ignoring his partner just because he was a man.

I like D/s, I could even see one or more them having to unwind. But this has to be done carefully, with an emphasis on the consensual, and love of the couple ectera. In fact there are probably only a few authors I would trust to write this story in this fandom. To many D/s or BDSM stories on the net are just to unsub like.

I am in my Journalism 1010 class right now, which i did not need to take but I needed an extra class for the government program I am in. I thought it would be interesting, and it can be, occassionally, But right now, I am soooo bored. We are discusssing Quotes.

I didn't do my reading for the next class. This is the first time I have done it this semester. Trust it to be the the time we have to write something on the material.

In Which the Enterprise Crew Plays I Never

Starts as PG-13 but osculates to NC-17 this is a K/S fic, Read it for the I never game which is positively hilarious. The portray of Pavel, and the insights into Spock who is contious of his facial expression all the time, wants to be friends with the crew, and wants to have a closer relationship with Kirk but afraid to let his human side feel. Okay so the last might seem a little over done, but it dosen't feel that way in this fic. Also the sex scene isn't hurried, and is tender and hot. And wonders of wonder and also a plus, (because it is so infrequently done now a days) does NOT involve penetration.

Seesh people, I have not had the chance to write anything (or in some cases the inclination) and my modem has not been working. I have been able to upload things, since it only takes a moment, but then it cuts out.

I feel like I am abandoning my friends this is not the case. Sighs, the modem is fixed now... I think. I might be online tonight but no promises.

I just completed IRB training, and am looking at what I still have to do this weekend, so my brain is fried, and then there is always the fact that my modem may decide not to work.

I am alive though and love you all.

In case you are all wondering, where I have disappereared to again. Or why I seem to jump off and online. The fair is in town again. Its cool. The downside is however is that my rooter can not keep a solid connection with my modem. So contact with me through the internet is spooty at best. If you are talking to me and I disappear on you. Its nothing you did. Blame it on the glitches of technology.

I haven't posted or been on. A lot of #$#@#@$ has gone down. I will not be giong into it. I am being postive, and I will not be bogging down my journals any of them with my woes. Besides they are over or overish. Which is why I am here.

Good news, we had the first garage sale, and I got to say, I cleaned up. I made about 78 dollars. Just from it, not counting the money my neighbor owes me. I sold a lot of bikenstock and their sub brands for 10 dollars a pair. I think maybe I should have sold them for more. When I went to tax free day to get new shoes and told the lady she gave me a look. The woman has to be an older sister or mother. You know the one. That looks that gives you a royal scolding without saying a word? Yeah, that one. But hey, I couldn't wear them. I had lost to much weight in my feet. Yeah for the losing weight, pooh for not being able to wear my shoes.

I want the new mickey mouse ones from birkenstock but they are only availible in Europe. *pouts*

Bad news, my moms toe got seriously infected during the garage sale, and she would have lost it. Her foot doctor was being unreasonably money grubby and refusing to see her unless she paid him in full for the current and past appointnment and didn't miss it. Forget the fact that they still had to bill our insurance....
Good news on that front, she was going to go to urgent care. But her diabetes doctor's nurse told her to keep her orthopedic surgeon appiontement (for her shoulder) and go see him first. He found the ingrown toenail and got it out. He wanted her to go to operation room but is one of those doctors that just has to take one more look... and she has NO FEELING in her feet soooo he got it out in the office, cleaned it, bandaged it. Told herto stay off it for a week and to take her antibiotics.

He saved her toe, he said if she had waited for monday for that appiontment with the money grubber she would have lost it. It is all good now, except she might still lose the nail. We are keeping it tapped on. If it breaks off it will take the growth plaite with it, and it is only attatched at the bottom the sides are dettacthed to allow for drainage and swelling. But all in all good report. The Surgeon says to come to him.

So on tax free day I took my haul and went shopping I now needed new shoes. I went a little crazy. Got a pair of shoes, shorts, two shirts and a purse. Spent all my money and five from my checking account but I still think it was a good haul. I don't normally do that. It was the first pair of shorts i bought all year.

It was my birthday yesterday, on Sunday we went out, for my dinner. I had to pay for it out of savings-an emergency came up. It broke my savings but my parents will pay me back as soon as we get the AAA paycheck. Such is the like of small bussiness owners. Besides, we went ot Outback. I am not a huge fan of the place but they have this awesome ficcoca filet sandwhich which is the sole reason I went, with sweet potato fires. Pure heaven. I tried the Captian's Mia Tia also, I wasn't sure I would like it. I had two, would probably have gone for three but yeah I was stuffed, and my grandparents had the server who turned out to be an old classmate bring out this huge fried icecream oreo sunday! Which I just had to try. I don't normally eat that much anymore but I chowed. It was great. My grand aunt was there and gave me a present which suprised me. I expected a card but nothing from her. It was nice.

My parents, gave me the other part of the moeny I had been saving for my PSP slim 3000. It isn't the purple one. That was my choice. I decided, I wanted the silver one. It came with Ratchet and Clank , which is a game I wanted, National Treasure which is a movie I like, a GB memory card, and was 30 dollars cheaper. I couldn't see paying the extra money for a color, a game I didn't want, and a movie I didn't want. Sure the card was bigger and I wanted the color but they weren't worth it. I like silver and I'll probably buy a skin anyway. They also bought me another game to go with it. That and the ankel braclet mom bought me at the start of spring makes me happy.

They also made me the brown sugar roastbeef nachoes I like lastnight, and bought me an ice cream cake from DQ. Very nice, although I have to be completely honest. The old DQ icecream cakes were better then they are now.

Oh grow up and grow a brain.

Rush Limba read FREAKING IDIOT compares Obahma's ideas for health care reform to Hitler Germany. It gets compared to socialism (like all forms of socialism are bad). *Snorts* Basically instead of reading for themselves my grandfather's generations is screaming the commies are coming the commies are coming, and what's worse? My parent's is just bowing to them.

Instead of standing up and educating the public, The President caves, the result. The healthcare crisis and its drain on the economy remains. It becomes my generation's problem and along with social security. FYI...Social Security was only designed to last 20-50 years max. Give it a few years the Healthcare crisis will not only be our problem, but something we caused.

She was silent for a few seconds, “So what then, this is a Weevil Hunt?”

“Yeah.”

“Brilliant.”

“The good news,” Tosh said slowly “is that the effect seems to be localized to the hub.”

And i am dying to write them. In one case i have several different premises for one cliche. I want to write them. But i also know that at least in the Torchwood fandom especially the turn character a into a timelord one is overdone lately. But but but... the thing is I want to do the cliches. I am thinking I should do them just to get things written. Its been so long since I have wrote anything, even my Originals are stalled. The thing is I know if I post them and no one responds I will be bumded and tempted to sink into a funk of not writing again. So what do you all think?
