Well Crickey this sucks. I know it was inevitable, and it will be interesting to see who replaces him, and I do have a year of specials to go but still. I am not ready for Eleven, darnit to hell. Ten was my doctor. I really can't see myself liking anyone quite as much, though I can't see myself not liking the new doctor, after all I do really enjoy Moffat's writing and the writing makes the character just as much as the actor.

No this isn't going behind a spoiler, because to go behind a spoiler cut means its something that you have revealed to you threw viewing or reading a in the serise. David Tennet doing a interview on the BBC one where this is the topic, a year in advance, negates the term 'spoiler' in my view. Its all over the net and more common place media, it is no longer a spoiler. It does however still have a certian suckage in my mind. Plus dosen't the Doctor only have 12 regenerations? Sigh, the end of a legend draws closer. Got to admit however his reasoning is sound. I do wish I could get my hands on his version of Casanova. Sometimes I dislike being stateside.

I have some  issues with your fic- is the leading sentence  phrase of the comment on a replay on my fic on live journal. Okay....  poster goes on to say it's a good premise but...

Now I don't classify the post as a flame at all, but it was rather mean spirited in wording, which i politely took issue with. Also pointing out that if A person wanted to spend the time to point out HOW a story was cannonically wrong, ectera with such wording as " All you had to do was watch the first three episodes of..." then they should take the time to suggest how they would fix the "issues" the had with the fic.

And now its, obvious I have never been flammed, because he or she had been taking pains to be very polite and why should they take the time, when it was something I had done dilebrately. (The discrebancy actually wasn't done dilberately, I HAD MISSED those episodes, but after the intial comment, I felt disniclined to rewrite a 9,000+ word story to make it cannonical, and instead decided to label it slightly AU.) Especially in Dr. Who which is a fandom to which IMHO cannon can be lossely applied as it is as wobbley wobbley as Time itself in that verse.

This is not the first time, I have had a lest then pleasent experiance with the Whoverse fans. Am I overreacting or are Who fans often less then welcoming to new-blood in the fandom?

My Insanejournal T_31 Bang Fic has been posted. It is Doctor Who post Journey's End. It is 8,787 words long, and completely un-beat'ed! the only thing I had time to do with it was run it through the spell check before the due date. I am looking for a beta for it. Normally I like deadlines. They keep me motivated. I keep commitments. If I say I am going to do something I RARELY weasle out of it. If I do something has come up, or I am SERIOUSLY SEROUSLY ill. Right now not so much!! So I am tring to write my fanfic for t_31_bangand it should be reltively easy. I mean its only 5,000 words and a relatively easy and broad prompt. So why isn't it working! Ever since, my friend rightly pointed out I had a error in my story plan with Dr. Who continuity. I have hit a writer's block wall! Now I can't figure out how the Doctor lost his memory!! Sighs. And I want to write a fix-it and or reunion Doctor and Donna fic. The problem? Every idea I come up with, I find has already been done, and done well, by someone on my flist or in the communities in my flist. Now I know there is no such thing as an original idea. Any English major will tell you this. One of my favorite qoutes is "Stealing ideas from one person is plagirism. stealing ideas from many is resarch," after all. ;0) Still, I don't want to write an idea someone has already done, even if I thought of the idea, and started the fic before I read the already posted one. Does anyone else ever feel this way? Do you complete your fics anyway or shelve them? Should I complete them anyway or hit the delete key... and someone send a Doctor Who muse over here. I need a reason for the Doctor to have lost his memory. Perferably one that does not invovle Torchwood. I tend to always want to make you Dr. Who works feature Torchwood.

Okay, Dr. Who has become more than a new fandom, it is now a bit of a fandom obsession with me. This is NOT good considering the wait, I am in for. For the record, while I came in with Nine I conisder Ten my doctor. He is the one that made me love the serise. I am finding the old eps and I like them, though Susan is irritating me, but yes Ten is my doctor. Deal. I also ship The Doctor/Rose. Now that being said, the impossible has happened I like Donna Nobel. Yes, Amy I know I swore up and down that it wasn't going to happen. The writers were not good enough to make me like that annoying, rash, down right BITCH of a Bride. I was wrong. I now eat humble pie. Sighs. Donna is actually fast becoming my favorite Companion of those I have seen which are limited to at present Susan, Rose, Martha, Captian Jack, Mickey, and the current incarnation of Sarah Jane, and maybe possibly stetching it a little, that girl from Blink and Professor Song.

The good news is I found a community to feed my Donna Nobel obsession, and through it two very good dabbles for those of us who object to the end up "Journey's End."
