“Except for two things. I save people. You want to make sure they die.”

 

“You’re going to let a little- thing like that get in the way of a good time?”

 

Tru sighed, little? “I don’t do meaningless, Jack. You know that.”

 

Jack smiled suggestively. “And if you were in the mood for a little, guilt free,” he swung his jacket over his shoulder, “stress relief.”

 

Tru smiled in spite of herself, incorrigible, and swept her eyes up and down his frame. “Trust me you’d be the last,” Tru made sure the let her voice drop to a purr on the word. Led him on girl. Keep you friends close and your enemies hanging on, “one I’d call.”  She gave one more almost smile and closed her car door effectively ending the conversation.
